A deposit of $500 was paid on 8-8-25 via Square. The remaining balance of $3,157 is due prior to or at the time of pickup. The puppy will not be released until full payment has been received.

HEALTH GUARANTEE:

The Seller guarantees the puppy against distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza, and parvovirus for 72 hours after transfer of ownership. If the puppy dies from one of these illnesses within 72 hours, the Seller will replace the puppy with another puppy of equal value from a future litter chosen by the Purchaser. This guarantee does not cover vaccine reactions, revaccination, or over-vaccination. The Seller provides a Veterinary Health Certificate from Hometown Veterinary Care of Byron Center, MI, which includes examination notes, breed identification, dam information, exam date, weight, physical exam status, and vaccination records. The puppy will have received a DHPP1 vaccination. Ongoing parasite management, including deworming, may be required based on your veterinary recommendations.

LIMITATION OF GUARANTEE:

The Seller makes no guarantees regarding fur color, eye color, adult size, conformation, reproductive ability, personality traits, bite alignment, coat quality, or temperament. Adult size estimates are based on the Seller’s experience but are not guaranteed. The Seller is not responsible for any veterinary bills once the puppy is delivered, and this guarantee does not cover spaying/neutering costs, including undescended testicles.

CONGENITAL ANOMALIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

If the puppy dies from a congenital defect within one year of birth, the Seller will replace the puppy with another of equal value from a future litter. The Purchaser is responsible for all shipping and related costs. Only congenital defects are covered under this guarantee. The Purchaser must obtain written confirmation of the condition from two independent, board-certified veterinarians. No cash refunds will be issued under any circumstances, and no further warranties are implied or provided. The Seller is not liable for veterinary expenses, injuries, or damages arising after the transfer of ownership, including mistreatment, neglect, or failure to follow vaccination protocols. Any failure by the Purchaser to provide ongoing veterinary care may void this guarantee.

SPAY/NEUTER AGREEMENT:

The Purchaser agrees to have the puppy spayed or neutered according to their veterinarian’s guidance. Failure to comply with this agreement will result in breach of contract.

REHOMING CLAUSE:

If the Purchaser can no longer care for the puppy, the Seller will assist in finding a new home, but no money will be exchanged between the Seller and the Purchaser.

PAYMENT TERMS:

Full payment for the puppy must be made and received by the Seller prior to the puppy leaving the Seller’s home. Accepted payment methods include cash, check, or credit card. If paying by check, the check must clear before the puppy is released. Any delay in payment will delay the transfer of the puppy. The Purchaser agrees to cover all legal fees, court costs, and additional expenses incurred in the event of a payment dispute or chargeback.

SEVERABILITY:

If any part of this agreement is deemed unenforceable or invalid, the rest of the agreement will remain in full force and effect.

LEGAL JURISDICTION:

This contract is governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, and any legal proceedings arising from this agreement shall be adjudicated exclusively in Kent County, Michigan. The prevailing party in any legal dispute will be entitled to recover reasonable attorney fees, court costs, and travel expenses.

BILL OF SALE AND NON-TRANSFERABILITY:

By signing this agreement, the Purchaser acknowledges receipt of this document and agrees to its terms and conditions. The Seller guarantees the puppy to be in sound health and temperament at the time of sale and will provide the Veterinary Health Certificate. This agreement represents the full contract between Teddy Bear Doodles and the Purchaser, and no other terms or conditions apply.

The health guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original Purchaser.
